An American in Germany

Brother Stephen Rosiek spent his first week of his winter break in Düsseldorf, Germany, visiting his sister, Megan. During his trip, Stephen visited Cologne, Amsterdam, and Essen.

“Since it was my first time visiting Germany, it was really cool seeing and experiencing a  completely different culture. The best part of the trip was seeing my sister.”

Because Stephen’s sister lives so far away, they only get to reunite about once per year.

When asked how being a member of Sigma Chi might have had an impact on his experience overseas, Stephen answered, “as corny as it sounds, Sigma Chi has taught me how to interact with people of different temperaments, talents, and convictions. The fraternity has helped me interact with individuals of different cultures and respects, and has given me an understanding of their differences.”

Stephen is currently a senior, studying Construction Management in the College of Architecture and Planning.
