Thank you for visiting the Sigma Chi – Epsilon Omega Chapter website. The Epsilon Omega Chapter of Sigma Chi was founded at Ball State University on June 17, 1962, making us one of the oldest chapters on Ball State’s campus.

The 81st Grand Chapter of Sigma Chi has officially ended! After many productive meetings, new Grand Officers, and a new International Sweetheart, we are assured that the future of Sigma Chi is in great hands!
We want to congratulate our sweetheart, Kellyn, on a fantastic campaign. Although we didn’t get the result we were hoping for, she did an amazing job of representing the Epsilon Omega chapter as a finalist, the first in our chapter’s history. Luckily for us, we still have her as our sweetheart for the next 8 months!
The Epsilon Omega chapter would like to congratulate our 70th Grand Consul, Tommy Geddings, South Carolina 1985, on his election, as well as all of the new and re- elected Grand Officers.
We look forward to the future of Sigma Chi, whether it be on the international level, or just as a chapter.

In just a few short weeks, the 81st Grand Chapter of Sigma Chi will occur in Providence, Rhode Island, from June 22nd-June 25th. Our current Sweetheart, Kellyn McMullan, has been selected as a finalist for the International Sweetheart position!
Kellyn has provided us a bio about herself and what she hopes to accomplish if she is elected to this position. From Kellyn:
“Hello everyone! My name is Kellyn McMullan! I’m from Elburn, Illinois
and will be a Senior at Ball State University this fall. I will
graduate in May 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Fashion
Merchandising and Marketing. I am currently interning at Follett
Corporation this summer, which is located just outside of Chicago. I
became the Epsilon Omega Sweetheart in February 2017 and I’m so
excited to represent the Epsilon Omega Sigs at Grand Chapter from June 22-25th.
If elected to be the 35th International Sweetheart of Sigma Chi, I
will have a busy agenda planned. To start, I want to improve the Sigma
Chi Sweetheart social media presence, as well as start a Sweetheart
blog. In a world where Greek life is under more scrutiny than ever
before, I want to give Sigma Chi a positive online presence from
somebody who witnesses the greatness of this Fraternity every day. My
next goal is to visit as many Sigma Chi chapters as possible during
the two year term, and even after the term ends. While visiting
chapters, I plan to utilize the position as an outlet for my platform
points. I aspire to speak to brothers about issues such as domestic
violence prevention, suicide prevention, sexual misconduct, and drugs
and alcohol education.
I also want to be the next International Sweetheart so I can showcase
the Fraternity’s relationship with Huntsman, while promoting the
Fraternity’s $10 million fundraising goal. I have cherished every
second of this adventure and I can’t wait for the outcome. Regardless
of the results, I’ve had the time of my life and I feel truly honored
to represent such an amazing chapter.”
Kellyn has treated us so well and we wish her, and our delegate, John Wade, the best of luck at Grand Chapter this year!
