Hi everyone! Hope you’re all having a great week! Unfortunately this will be the last newsletter I write because my term is coming to an end on March 15th.
As sad as I am to be writing this, I can’t help but think about how eternally grateful I am to have had this opportunity.
Sigma Chi has truly changed my life for the better in so many ways. Whether it be my own self confidence, struggles with mental health, or even my faith in the good of other people, all of the brothers have been there to lift me up and completely change my perspective for the better.
After 4 years of coming to the house, and my year as Sweetheart, I can honestly say I have more confidence in myself and motivation to be a better person than I ever would have had without Sigma Chi. This fraternity has taught me what it means to have values and truly stand for them.
Though I’m tearing up at the thought of this chapter in my life coming to an end, I realize how lucky I am to have been apart of something bigger than myself that makes leaving so difficult. I will forever cherish all of the memories and lifelong friendships I have made at Sigma Chi. Whether it was the bad days when I needed people who would be sure to cheer me up, or the good days when I needed people to cheer me on, I always knew exactly where to go.
We’ve all heard the quote “there’s no place like home”, but I will always believe there is no place like Sigma Chi.
Thank you all for the endless joy you’ve brought into my life.
